anyone know of any good bnd music thateither features the french horn or has a good french horn part in it i am so sick of my band music it's not funny around grade 3 or 4 would be good intermediate crap for year 9 and 10 students. i'm sick of long nots, endless rests and repeating rythm. help me please!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thu, December 27, 2007 - 11:08 AMUm... wow. I'm a horn player in the Portland Youth Wind Ensemble; the director happens to be my private horn teacher, and played in the ORegon Sympthony for 20 years. complete badass and treats his 8 french horns WELL
Earth Water Sun Wind is very cool
the movie score of Robin Hood Prince of Thieves is yummy
Blue Shades by Tiichelli. Sanctuary by Tichelli. outside of that he gets boring...
those are really high level pieces... email if you need more suggestions.
